STATUTE In gilded bronze Representing Shakyamuni Buddha, seated in dhyanasana, hands in dhyana mudra on a double lotus, dressed in his monastic garment "Kashaya" evoking simplicity and renunciation of all forms of materialism, with tight curls topped by a bun forming the ushnisha, symbol of superior wisdom.
