A varied collection of two daggers, two swords and forearm protection, India and Turkey, 19th C.
L.: 84,2 cm (the longest sword)
L.: 30 cm (the shortest dagger)
The brass Indian forearm protection is fully incrusted and depicts 4 scenes with musicians in the centre.
The Indian dao sword in sheath is slightly curved and is fully coverd with worked silver.
The large Turkish dagger has a gilded copper handle with decorations and a wooden sheath with gilded decorated copper.
The Indian iron dagger is crusted with silver decorations and has a leather sheath reinforced with decorated iron.
The Indian scimitar with bone handle has a crushed blade and is decorated with copper and silver inscriptions.
Provenance:
