New Elzévirienne edition, reprinting that of 1666, of this little novel written in honor of the Duke of Savoy, first published in 1665. The author, born in Avranches, was René Le Pays (1634-1690), director of the Dauphiné gabelles.
A very fine copy bound in jansenist morocco by Masson-Debonnelle for Count Joseph Guilhem de Lagondie (1809-1879).
