Part of a scroll, ink and polychrome on silk in the sansui style, decorated with figures in a snow-covered wooded and mountainous landscape. Some are on foot or mule-back on bridges and paths, while others are busy around a village. It bears the signature of Qian Xuan (1235-1300).

The scene in this painting was probably inspired by a poem by Wen Tingyun (a famous Tang poet, active around 859) entitled "Departure at dawn on Mount Shang".
