Hinged round case, smooth back, caseback numbered "18488", striking mechanism activated by a pull on the caseband, double square winding mechanism, gold bowl signed and numbered "Her de la Marine Palais Royal 52 Paris médailles de 1801 à 1867".
White enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours and railway minute track
Mechanical movement with key winding, three-arm balance with spiral spring, two-hammer gong chime, advance/delay setting racket
