Important and spectacular luminous tableware, comprising a thick slab of white satin-finish glass, in a half-moon shape, with an intaglio-molded decoration of a large three-masted ship with unfurled sails, set in a Rio rosewood base. Signed "René Lalique" in the decoration. Created in 1930, not made again after 1947.
(Minor chips and scratches).
