Pair of HAUTE D'APPUI furniture decorated with blackened wood veneer. They are inlaid with brass fillets and have matching tortoiseshell marquetry on the doors on a brass base.
The veneered top opens through a door and rests on a plinth base supported by a ball base.
Ornamented with gilded bronzes such as rosettes, consoles with scrolls, masks and two women representing two of the four seasons; autumn for the vine branches and spring for the bouquet of flowers held.
Work of the Napoleon III period.
Height : 114 cm. Width : 85 cm. Depth : 40 cm.
NB: Numerous brass fillet detachments and missing parts. To be restored (as is).
