Porsche launches the 911 SC to replace the 911S and Carrera 3.0 models. The 911 SC was therefore designed to be more reliable and economical, while offering solid performance. Its 3.0-liter flat-six engine initially produces 180 hp. Thanks to continuous improvements, power increased to 188 hp in 1980 and reached 204 hp in 1981, particularly for European versions.
