THE BENTLEY ARNAGE Bentley Motors Limited is a British luxury car manufacturer, founded by Walter Owen Bentley, known as W.O. Bentley, in 1919. W.O. Bentley had made his name manufacturing aircraft engines during the First World War. The first production model, the Bentley 3 Litre, is renowned for its robustness and performance. Bentley became famous in the world of motor racing, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans five times between 1924 and 1930. A group of wealthy racing enthusiasts, nicknamed the "Bentley Boys", contribute to the brand's fame by winning several races. Bentley faces financial difficulties and is bought by Rolls-Royce. The 3½-liter model, known as the "Silent Sports Car", marks a new beginning for Bentley under the Rolls-Royce umbrella. Under Rolls-Royce ownership, Bentley enjoys a renaissance, with models such as the Mulsanne and Continental. Volkswagen Group acquires Bentley, ushering in a new era of growth and innovation for the brand. Bentley remains a symbol of luxury motoring and performance, combining a rich heritage with a modern approach to manufacturing and technology. Like the Mulsane, the Bentley presented to you today takes its name from one of the most famous bends in the Le Mans 24-hour race. It comes complete with Italian registration, Certificate of Identification for Imported Vehicles (COC), roadworthiness certificate and several invoices. This superb Bentley was put on the road in 2000 and has 79975 km on the clock.
