With 3 title borders and ca. 150 woodcuts (mostly by Virgil Solis). 14 (of 18) nn., 352, 410 num., 5 nn., 1 w. Bl. blind embossed. Pigskin boards over wooden boards. (Missing all mountings and both clasps, rubbed and worn). VD 16, B 2747 Schmidt, Illustr. der Lutherbibel 236 ff. - Missing 4 leaves at the beginning (including the two portraits of the Electors Frederick and Ottheinrich). Some spotting and waterstaining, some worming, title and several leaves unattractively glued with tape in the front, some marginal defects. - With 3 title borders and approx. 150 woodcuts in the text. Contemporary blindstamped pigskin over wood (clasps missing, rubbed and bumped). Partly somewhat stained and waterstained, partly with worming, title and few sheets taped, few chippings.
