Palau 289316 The texts collected in this volume were foisted on Augustine; today it is assumed that they are 14th century forgeries. The woodcut before the text shows Augustine kneeling in a bishop's habit before the Virgin and Child under an arcade. The printer's mark, which shows a sea creature with a double fishtail, is particularly beautiful. Fol. CLXXXVI with a weak spot in the white margin at the bottom. The index stained throughout at the beginning and with traces of moisture; also traces of moisture throughout in the upper and lower corners. Some leaves with small repairs in margins. - Very rare.
