Modern vellum binding. Not published by Adams. - Edition created for school use, without commentary. A short Vita Sallusti on the last leaf. - The beautiful title woodcut shows a scholar writing at his desk in a narrow room, through the open window one can see the moon and stars over a city. Waterstaining throughout. Small defects in the title with old backing. On the title - inscribed on the side of the reading desk - ownership entry of an "Olavus Johanni", dated Stockholm 1512 (?). - Very rare.
