Not in Hollstein. - Splendidly engraved portraits of the main participants in the Thirty Years' War, including Ferdinand II, Frederick of the Palatinate, Joachim Ernst of Brandenburg, Christian of Brunswick, Ernst of Mansfeld, Wallenstein, Christian IV of Denmark, James I and Charles I of England, Gustav Adolf, Tilly, Maximilian of Bavaria and others, the remaining engravings with allegorical depictions, coats of arms etc.. - Missing sheet E5 with the Belgian coat of arms. Partly slightly stained. Portrait of Ferdinand II with some loss of text, portrait of Frederick of the Palatinate with repaired tear. Tear, 1 leaf with marginalia.
