Wegehaupt I, 1846. first edition. - The book is a continuation of Salzmann's 'Moralisches Elementarbuch'. It contains a continuous narrative divided into 44 sections. In order to achieve its educational purpose, Salzmann wanted it not to be given to the children, but "to remain under the decision of the parents or the teacher; that it be brought in daily, a piece of it read aloud by the children, and a discussion held with them about it." (preliminary report). - Front cover stained and with old ownership inscription, title with crease, waterstained. Inner cover with traces of sealing wax.
