Hayn-Gotendorf IV, 512. - The only edition of this small satirical contemporary mirror, "in which the infirmities of our civilization are reflected". August von Blumröder (1776-1860) was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly until the end of 1848 and outlines the conditions in the pre-March period. The "famous satirical" lithographs (H.-G.) are attributed by Rümann to both Lyser and Moritz Retzsch. - Title with tear in lower margin. Title and some text leaves stamped, binding somewhat weak in places. - Browned and somewhat stained.
