Nissen, ZBI 4408 - Apart part of this richly illustrated natural history work written by the Augsburg Protestant pastor and writer Gottlieb Tobias Wilhelm (1758-1811), here in the last contemporary edition of 1834 - Rare in this complete form. - Bindings rubbed, internally somewhat yellowed, the boards somewhat trimmed and bound (plates occasionally with minimal loss of image at binding or outer board), plates waterstained throughout. Text volume in very good, plate volume in still good condition. With stamps and spine signatures of a dissolved monastery library.
