19th century iron with reddish patina. Table object with peacock, movable tail. Four flared feet with birds on the sides. Circumferential decoration, hanging leaf elements. 11.5 x 16.5 x 13.5 cm. In Persian Tavus (peacock) it is regarded as pure. It is a symbol of the beauty and power of rulers. The peacock's feather is worthy of being used as a bookmark in the Koran. D
