(1766 Amsterdam - Franeker 1822). Mixed lot of altogether 93 sheets from various sets. Set, some of which double and triple resp., in various states. With 2 proofs. 93 etchings, some in aquatint, some in brown ink, 3 on blue paper. 4.5:3.2 to 39.5:28.3 cm. Th./B. XII, 132. Present collection by a quite talented artist about whom little is known, who proved his skills in various genres. He proved his skills in various genres. Including: Tomb of Hendrik Dan. Hooft (1716-1794), regent in Amsterdam a. mayor there several times between 1769 a. 1787. Fol. - Portrait of G. Griswold(?) in profile to the right, bust, in the round. Before the writing, here somewhat illegible inscribed in lead, in the lower w. platemark signed in lead. Signed in pencil in lower w. platemark. H. Fock. 4°. - Dedication leaf to e. Set of 7 sheets with landscapes, dedicated to J. Kuyper. in 2 states: Before a. with the writing. - 6 sheets in 3 different states each. 1 of which always inverted and very faint, 18 sheets in total. (Forest a. river landscapes, with angler, cows, a thatched cottage etc.). - 9 pl. Landscapes in small format, 3 of them in 3 different states. In total 12 sheets. - Fruit still life. In 2 states. - Printer's proof to e. Set with the artist's address in the "Goudsbloem-Straat Amsterdam", certainly to e. Landscape set in small format. In 3 different states. 2 of which before the writing. - Man with jug. After Abr. Bloemaert. In 6 states present aquatint partly in brown print. - 1 sheet (v. 33?) from "Verzameling van verschillende gekleede mans- en vrouwenstanden". In 2 states, in outline and aquatint. - 2 sheets supposedly from the same set: Young man asleep under bushes, with jug. Man leaning on a stick. Also in 2 states as previous sheet. - Portrait of an old bearded man, in profile to the left. 2 states, of which 1 engraving in crayon manner, in brown print. - Mostly strong, high-contrast impressions, often with some plate dirt.
