VITRAIL Rectangular-shaped, in white, blue and red glass, painted in grisaille and silver yellow, featuring the coat of arms of the city of Paris and its motto in a rich décor of friezes of oves alternating with darts, cut-out leathers, garlands of fruit, aristoloches and birds facing each other.
It is framed by a wide molded wood bead.

The nef is found as early as the early 13th century on the seal of the powerful "Water Merchants" guild, which obtained the privilege of navigation on the Seine by royal charter in 1170. Its origins date back to Gallo-Roman times, with the Lutetian Nautes of the Parisii tribe.
