ORIS Carl ORIS model Diver Chronograph / Carl Brashear Limited Edition - Bronze, circa 2011 Imposing 100-meter chronograph in tribute to the US Navy's submariner watches, produced in a limited edition of 2,000 (Carl Brashear was the first African-American to become a Navy diving instructor). Case with bronze lugs and unidirectional bezel, steel crown and screw-down caseback (signed and numbered, decorated with a diver). King blue dial with minute track and two recessed counters: small seconds at 9 o'clock and minutes at 3 o'clock. Applied pastille hour markers and luminescent skeleton hands. Oris aged leather strap with original buckle. Movement: Mechanical self-winding caliber signed ORIS / 772031.
