PLEASE CONTACT US FOR FURTHER INFORMATION*** NOTE Within each Dogon village stands a place called the togu na (great shelter), access to which is exclusively reserved for men to gather, discuss, and seek shelter from the heat. Pillars are sculpted, supporting the thick structure of accumulated and well-ordered branches, creating cool shelter. This architectural tradition also exists among the Bamana and the Senoufo, who call it Kpaala
