2 original Jap. ukiyo-e woodblock prints Utagawa Toyokuni (1769-1825) Japan, 19th century. Musha-e (warrior image) and Yakusha-e (portrait of an actress). Sign. 1) A fight between Bando Mitsugoro III (left) and Matsumoto Koshiro (right). Both are actors in the Kabuki theater and play samurai. Condition: Good impression and colors, some stains. 25 cm x 35.5 cm. 2) Portrait of the actress Sawamura Gennosuke I. Condition: good impression and colors, some stains, damages at the bottom and in the lower right corner, slightly folded at the upper right. 25 cm x 36 cm.
