Ancient, rare and complete Magar shamanic costume. Western Nepal, 19th cent. . Cm 110x100. Museum-quality, this outfit consists of a central armor enriched with hand-forged wrought-iron bells and animal parts, coeval drum, feathered headdress, and wooden stool where the shaman would enter a trance with the spirits. Costumes like this were used exclusively by highly experienced shamans. Headdress: 40x40 cm, Drum: diameter 40 cm
