Antique TABRIZ, late 19th century, Persia DJAFFER High-quality silky lambswool velvet on a cotton foundation. Midnight-blue field with a thousand polychrome stylized flowers, adorned with a large brick-polylobed central medallion with finely drawn pale sky-blue floral buds and inlaid with a midnight-blue central rosette with small palmettes of stylized flowers. Seven borders, the main one with pastel flower bulbs. 173 x 128 cm
