SIMON OEBEN (1722 - 1786)
Moulded mahogany chest of drawers (the frame in oak veneered with mahogany and the uprights in solid mahogany), the recessed front opening to three drawers in three rows, the Sainte-Anne grey marble top resting on rounded uprights terminating in cambered feet; (small dents and restorations).
Stamped by Simon Oeben, cabinetmaker received as master in 1769.
Louis XVI period, circa 1770-1775.
