At the end of the 19th century, the Saint Clément earthenware factory produced numerous barbotine pieces, including pitchers and piggy banks, exceptional for their quality and recognizable by their colors. Production of barbotine pitchers faded after the Second World War.
N.B.: Barbotine is a mixture of clay and water used to cast a piece or to glue together earthenware elements.
