José-Maria DAVID (1944-2015). Walking panther. Silver patina bronze, dated 1991 and signed J.M.DAVID on the left front paw, stamped MAROMER bronzier (some oxidation). Height 11 cm - Width: 25 cm - Depth: 7 cm José Maria David was born in 1944 in Loire Atlantique, France. After a career as an antiques dealer, he turned to bronze animal sculpture. He creates numerous works using the lost-wax bronze technique. His workshops are located in several cities, including Vannes, Toulouse and Metz.
