A COMMODE with a slightly recessed center in precious wood marquetry decorated with interlacing and friezing, the uprights are canted, and opens to three drawers. Ornamented with bronzes such as drawer rings, entrances to ribboned locks, falls and lamp bases. Sainte-Anne gray marble top. Resting on four sheathed feet.
Stamped on one upright "M.F.ROHT".
Louis XVI period.
(Marble restored, veneering missing, one bronze missing, wear).
