BAROMETER in wood and gilded stucco, the pediment entirely carved and decorated with an eagle under a wreath of oak leaves resting on a trophy of flames and a quiver of arrows. The wooden dial, repainted in grisaille on a blue background, is marked "Baromètre selon Torricelli" ("Barometer according to Torricelli").
Under glass in a frame decorated with a frieze of palmettes.
First quarter of the 19th century.
