Low "Berger" stool in ash, with a slightly hollowed circular seat, resting on a tapered tripod base.
Created circa 1955.
(Slight cracks, stains, wear, one leg to be reattached).
Height: 28 cm - Diameter: 32 cm
A high ash "Berger" stool.

Provenance :
- Former private collection of Mr. G. B..., Parisian architect, active from 1950, who was a client of the Steph SIMON gallery in the 1960s/1965s.
Condition report dated 18/06/2024 at 11:30 am:
General wear, scattered stains and traces of white and blue paint. Scattered old traces of glue, particularly on the seat. Small chip on edge under seat. Slight detachments and small chips at foot joints. Visible joint crack. Feet badly positioned, to be reassembled. One leg to be glued.
Concerning the high stool: stool split in two, accidents, splinters, scattered cracks and stains, wood eaten, poor condition.
