Charlotte PERRIAND (1903-1999) Bahut "Bloc" model in black lacquered sheet metal and ash veneer, opening with four sliding white and red plastic doors (one door damaged). The sides are perforated with racks, and the interior partitions and bottoms are in black lacquered sheet metal. Resting on two ash-veneered feet. (Wear, stains on the top, some rods and screws missing, one cleat on the back). 71 x 192.5 x 46.5 cm Provenance : - Former private collection of Mr. G. B..., Parisian architect, active from 1950, who was a client of the Steph SIMON gallery in the 1960s/1965s. - Private collection, Val d'Oise, by descent. Condition report dated 18/06/2024 at 11:30 am: Scattered wear, scratches and stains on the top. Slight pitting on the sheet metal elements, particularly on the bottoms. Three screws with pins missing from rear (three screw holes visible). Slight traces of white paint on the back of the sideboard, on the right-hand corners. Small scattered stains on the doors (particularly on the large doors). One small red door damaged, with part of the door missing. Wear and minor veneer wear on the block feet.
