Child Oedipus called back to life by the shepherd Phorbas Bronze with shaded brown patina. Height: 43 cm (Wear and oxidation) Reduction of the marble currently in the Louvre (N 15538). The latter, created by the sculptor from his plaster sketch presented at the 1801 Salon, remained unfinished at the time of his death. It was completed by Pierre Cartellier (1757 - 1831) and Louis Dupaty (1771 - 1825).
