* Mahogany veneer and gilded wood imitating ormolu. The waistband is adorned with applied gilded wood motifs of rosettes, palmettes and stars, opening at the front with a push-button drawer. The front uprights feature sheath-mounted busts of Caryatids ending in feet in sandals. The back is stamped
LPO and crowned (Mark of Louis Philippe d'Orléans from 1821 to 1830).
Work attributed to Martin-Eloy Lignereux (1751 - 1809).
