composed of a clock and two cassolette-mounted vases in white marble and chased and gilded bronze.
The terminal-shaped clock is flanked by two volutes and topped by an Antique-style urn festooned with garlands. The white enamel dial with Roman numeral hours and Arabic numeral minutes is signed Ernest Royer in Paris. The lids of the cassolettes are decorated with young fauns and garlands of vines held in place by ribbons.
