The beige field is decorated with original scenes depicting the daily life of Persian villagers in each season: a snowman in the lower left, the harvest, spring on the right and autumn in the upper left.
These scenes of Persian village life frame a large central medallion in the form of a crenellated mirror frame inlaid with poetic inscriptions and adorned with a couple of dignitaries taking tea.
The main navy border is decorated with interlaced cartouches of fine twisted crenellated branches inlaid with stylized bulbs, animals and flower buds and surrounded by cartouches with figures and landscapes.
