Temple of Love portico clock in molded white marble, the stepped base supporting four tapered fluted columns and a pedestal surmounted by a dove, topped by an entablature with a central circular dial topped and framed by flowering vases. Chased and gilded bronze laurel leaf scrolls, pompom trimmings, flowers and foliage. The white enameled dial with Arabic numerals indicating hours and minutes is signed in blue by Charles Bertrand, horloger de l'Académie Royale des Sciences, rue Montmartre, Paris.
Louis XVI period
