Tebriz rug (cotton warp and weft, wool velvet with silk flowers?), Northwest Persia, circa 1930. The rug features a small double medallion in navy blue and red, extended by two pendants on a turquoise blue background decorated with stylized polychrome flowers. A navy blue border with flower garlands encircles the composition.
