vgAE40 mm.; Enameled; with original ribbon; original name: Wisam al-Khidmat al-Tawilat wa al-Qadwat al-Hisanat; the medal was instituted on 6 January 1962 and awarded to non-commissioned officers and other ranks for 15 years’ service. The first version, awarded in 1962 and 1963, shows the Syrian flag with a green upper stripe. This example, with a red upper stripe, dates from the period 1963 to 1972.; Condition-I; (KW1880)
