The pommel is decorated with the monogram of Emperor Nicholas 2 during reign of which the officer received his first officer rank. Wooden scabbard covered with leather. The scabbard device is made of brass. Blade with one wide fuller. On one side of the blade there is a monogram Emperor Nicholas 2. On the other side is the Russian coat of arms Empire.
