209 days under occupation, 1992
In 70 works, Kuwaiti artist Badr Al Qatami pays tribute to the 209 days Kuwait was occupied by Iraqi troops during the Gulf War in 1990. The artist, a realist known for his depictions of Kuwaiti landscapes, sets out here to reproduce the desolate landscapes and stigmata left by the war.
The book reviews the artist's career and lists his various exhibitions.
