Walter Minus (1958) lives and works in Paris. A graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Métiers d'Art et des Arts Appliquées, he is a draughtsman, illustrator and painter. He regularly illustrates for mainstream magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan, as well as Blab (a Seattle-based magazine). He works in advertising for prestigious brands such as Coca Cola, Chanel, Renault, Air France and L'Oréal. He has published a dozen comic albums since Ciao Poupée! published by Magic-Strip in 1983. Finally, he regularly paints in a style close to Ligne Claire and Pop Art. His favorite subject is women, pretty women whom he paints from every angle, or rather quite undressed, but always very dignified.
