A4 format Bruno Bessadi (1974) is president of Zarmatelier, a Marseille-based comics workshop and writers' association. He has signed the Zorn et Dirna series for Soleil, which now has 6 volumes. In 2004, he contributed to Volume 1 of Chroniques de Sillage. In 2008, he produced modelsheets for the animated feature Prodigy: la nuit des enfants rois. In October 2011, he produced an adaptation of Goldilocks and the Three Bears for Bamboo's Pouss' collection, as well as a scketchbook published by Snorgleux. Since 2013, under Hérik Hanna's script, he has been drawing the BAD ASS series, whose style and format are highly inspired by U.S. superhero comics. The saga was published in the U.S. by Dynamite in 2014.
