Antonio Lapone (1970) is an Italian cartoonist who began working in advertising graphics in 1990, while at the same time developing his ligne claire style in comics. In 1999, he won 1st prize at the Paris La Défense Fnac and published his first story about the beautiful "Desy Blonde" in BoDoï No23. Antonio Lapone loves the 50s, the years that inspired authors such as Yves Chaland, Walter Minus, Berthet and Serge Clerc. Currently based in Italy, he works with a number of publishing houses, including Disney.
