Herman/Lune de guerre. Original erotic drawing illustrating the characters from the one-shot with Van Hamme. Very fine quality of execution. Graphite and watercolor signed circa 2000. Rare. TBE+. 31 X 23 cm Van Hamme: "Lune de guerre" owes its origins to an anecdote gleaned at a social gathering in the early 90s. During a wedding, a dispute arose between the groom's father and the restaurateur, who was accused of serving shrimp tomatoes that were not quite fresh enough. Unable to reach an agreement with the restaurant owner, the groom's father offers to take the whole party out to lunch. Seeing his check slipping away, the restaurateur locks the bride in the bathroom and refuses to release her until he receives his money. In the original story, everyone returns to the table and the day ends without further incident.
