Cirovic/Original drawing in homage to Peyo. Beautifully executed for this rich winter scene. India ink signed. TBE+. 42 X 30 cm
Cirovic Slavisa is a cartoonist who began his career in the 70s. As well as working in the advertising departments of publishers such as Dupuis, Disney and Bonelli, he was editor-in-chief of a number of Serbian comic magazines, such as Biser Strip and Yupi Stars, weeklies in which classic Franco-Belgian comic series were republished. Again for these magazines, as a cartoonist himself, he produced many cover illustrations, as well as a number of "trailer" drawings through which readers could discover the series that would be featured in the following issue.
