Leonardo Di Matteo, a painter originally from Lisbon, started out as an assistant in several major comics and graphic novel magazines. He blossomed while working for several years at Disney's comic book studios. He is a great fan of American cartoons and Franco-Belgian comics, from which he draws much of his inspiration.
