A Dutch Delft Yixing style teapot by Ary de Milde, Made in Delft at "De Gecroonde Theepot" pottery which was owned by Ary de Milde and operational between 1692-1724. Ary de Milde was one of only three Delft potters to produce this type of red earthenware ware in Delft as imitation of the Chinese Yixing stoneware, and the only one to clearly mark their products (with the distinct oval running fox mark). This globular teapot is decorated with blossom sprigging and has a silver end of the spout (to disguise old damage), Ca. 1700, Netherlands, L 16.5 cm, H 11 cm, Handle repaired and end of spout with replacement silver spout.
