Set of two champlevé enamel plates: 1. Oblong-shaped domed plate in champlevé, enameled, cloisonné and gilded copper; green, red and white enamel. Decorated with rosettes in a diamond pattern. Rheno-mosan, second half of the 12th century Height: 2 cm - Length: 8 cm (some missing enamel) Provenance : - Sale Paris, Hôtel Drouot, Catalogue des objets d'art et de haute curiosité, June 8, 1923, exp. Champlevé copper plate, enameled and gilded; yellow, blue and green enamel. Decorated with piastres. Rheno-mosan, second half of the 12th century Height: 1.7 cm - Length: 8.3 cm (cracks, worn gilding) Provenance : - Koffler Truniger Collection, Lucerne, no. 628 (until 1971). - Keir Collection, (New-York sale, Sotheby's, November 20, 1997, Keir Collection, lot 13).
