Central part of a carved ivory triptych depicting Christ crucified surrounded by the two Larrons under a three-lobed arch with hooked gable.

This rare iconography can be found on other triptychs, such as the one in the Musée de Cluny (inv. CL 446) or a central part belonging to the Wallace collection (inv. S 247). Koechlin described this one as "good work", with the feet of the thieves resting on the ground.
