Siliceous paste with black decoration under turquoise glaze, siliceous paste with blue-white decoration
Iran, 13th - 14th century and Iran or Central Asia, 14th - 15th century

Height 10.5 cm; Diameter 21 cm (bowl)
The bowl is decorated in black under a turquoise glaze with a central medallion decorated with palmettes and a stylized frieze on the scalloped rim. The Timouride bowl features Chinese-inspired floral decoration typical of the period.
